Free RedHat Support Subscriptions: A Step-by-Step Guide

;

$content = [

Red Hat is now kind enough to offer free support subscription licenses. You get “Organization not found” error while registering on Red Hat network for patches. This happens even though it shows your organization name on your Red Hat profile page.

Here is the way to get a free subscription to the RedHat network.

Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 (Plow) on your system or VMware-like virtualization product. Register your free Red Hat account and go to the subscription page. You will get the choice to generate subscription keys. Copy that and note down your Organization ID (not name).

After starting your RHEL VM, it will say system not registered and gives the choice to register.Register it and use your key and Organization ID.

It will register and you are on RHEL network. Instead using Cent OS use this method to learn.
